I believe BIM is about bringing people together. Once I realized that BIM is fundamentally about people, communication, and collaboration; successful projects became the natural outcome.

Technology, software, and standards are essential, but they are only tools. The real value of BIM comes from the people who use them. When project teams communicate clearly, understand each other’s objectives, and work within well-defined processes, BIM becomes far more than a digital model—it becomes a way of working.

I don’t see BIM as a collection of models, software, or standards. I see it as a way to connect people, disciplines, and information throughout the entire project lifecycle.
